My shoes are rather filthy and they need a good washing. Is it safe to put these shoes in the washing machine to clean them?

Use a quality leather cleaner on the upper. You can clean up the rubber outer sole with any good cleaner, just keep it off the leather. Treat the upper with a good leather conditioner when everything is dry.|||i would say no. take a clorox wipe and scrub the shoes. :)
