I'm doing a project for school about how Greek terms are often still used today. One of those terms is "Adidas." I've managed to research all of the other topics and find answers, but this one I can find no info on. Can someone help me please :) And if you have the information about the myth, please tell me.|||u are mixing up adidas with nike . nike company are references to athena -nike the goddess of victory(nike is one of athena's persona the parthenon has 2 temples one errected to athena -nike) its a common mistunderstanding of greek myth actually

various moon of jupiter a bunch of jupters moons are named for greek mythological figures including variosu lovers fo zeus europa,leda,callisto. pasiphae the mortal mother of the minotaur( half bull half man) and ganymede the gay lover fo zeus ( he swung both ways)ganymede was used fto demote a gay relationship throughout history as well, it has however died out.
apollo missions were of course anmed for apollo greek god of archery and prophecy, music and the twin fo artemis

these are just soem off the top of my head|||You might be thinking of Nike, who was a Greek god of Victory. I looked for Adidas and there is no god. The god that is close to that is Adonis.|||Tiamat is right
